We have had a busy first few days back and the children have settled into life at Cathedral Primary School wonderfully.
We have introduced the children to new topics. We are learning about the Anglo-Saxons/Vikings in Topic and Forces in Science, and started reading Beowulf as our class text.
They have adapted to working with new classmates, new teachers, and to new challenges. Our newest school value is Resilience, and the children have demonstrated it admirably over the first few days through their Maths work and through the bridge building challenge.
We are looking forward to getting stuck into more challenges and exploring new topics with the children as the year goes on.
