Can you please ensure your child comes in with a coat everyday. Sometimes it is raining a little and we still need to get outside and get some fresh air.
We will still be doing PE on Wednesday. Your child should come in in their PE kit and they will remain in it all day.
Each week, children should complete the following homework:
- Spelling Shed - A different spelling rule will be set each week with games and activities for the children to practise at home. Please encourage your child to use Spelling Shed each week as it is the best way to practise our spelling rule for the week. We recommend 5 - 10 minutes practise each day.
- Times Table Rockstars - Times tables are a vital part of anyone's mathematical toolkit. In class we continue to rote learn out times tables. At home, regular practise on Times Table Rockstars will help to embed this learning.
- Reading - It is important that every child reads regularly at home. Your child should try to read at least four times a week. Reading records will be checked in school every Friday.
- Grammar homework - A short piece of Grammar homework is set on Seesaw each Friday, to be completed by the following Friday. This provides further practise of skills we are learning in class.
Home learning books
The children each brought home a home learning book to be used in the event of remote learning. Please keep this safe and do not use it for anything else! Your child's Seesaw login is stuck inside, and their Spelling Shed and Times Table Rockstars logins have been stuck to the front cover so you have all this information in one place.
